Why is abacus important for my child?
Abacus training teaches children to picture numbers as beads and calculate in their head. Regular practice builds concentration, listening skills, visual memory, calculation speed and accuracy – and the confidence that comes with being good at maths.
What age can my child start?
The SIP Abacus programme suits children from about 6 to 12 years. Younger children start in the Junior levels; older children start in Foundation.

How is abacus different from Vedic Maths?
Abacus trains mental calculation by visualising beads and suits younger children. Vedic Maths teaches short-cut methods on paper and in the head and suits older students. Our Nellikuppam centre teaches both.
Do you teach anything other than abacus?
Yes – our Nellikuppam centre also runs Vedic Maths, Hindi (L1 to L4) and school tuition for Class 1 to Class 12.
What are the fees and timings?
Fees depend on the programme and level, and most batches run on weekends. WhatsApp the centre for the current fee and the next available batch.
